Il Bel Fiore

Handprinted original linocut print of flowers surrounded by foliage.

The design is Japanese-inspired with waterlily-esque flowers and simple branches and leaves.

The print is made by hand carving the design into linoleum using traditional Japanese printmaking tools, loading ink onto the lino block and taking an impression onto paper. The paper is a beautiful handmade bamboo paper in a slightly off-white, neutral colour.

Each print is editioned and signed as part of a limited edition run of two prints.

This piece was created and designed by printmaker Sophia Luna in her home studio in the historical city of York.

Please bear in mind that each piece is printed by hand and therefore will vary slightly.

All prints are posted in heavy duty parcel tubes/envelopes to ensure they are protected throughout transport.
