Invasion

Handprinted original linocut print of a spaceship/UFO flying in the sky above a field of cacti. Sci-fi/fantasy print.

The print is made by hand carving the design into linoleum using traditional Japanese printmaking tools, rolling oil-based ink onto the lino and taking an impression onto paper. The paper is premium Fabriano printmaker paper and the colour is a deep, violet oil-based ink with highlights in a slightly lighter shade.

Each print is editioned and signed as part of a limited edition run of fourteen prints. This is the first edition.

This piece was created and designed by printmaker Sophia Luna in her home studio in the historical city of York.

Print: 10x10 cm (4x4 inches)
Paper: 13x13 cm (5x5 inches)

Please bear in mind that each piece is carved and printed by hand and therefore will vary slightly.

All prints are posted in heavy duty parcel tubes/envelopes to ensure they are protected throughout transport.
