Strawberry Print / Bookmark

Handprinted original linocut multi-block print of strawberries hanging from the vine.

The print is made by hand carving the design into multiple linoleum blocks using traditional Japanese printmaking tools, loading oil-based ink onto the block and taking an impression onto paper by passing it through an etching press. The paper is heavyweight card.

This piece was created and designed by me, printmaker Sophia Luna, in my home studio in the historical, walled city of York.

Approximate Sizes:
Paper: 2 x 4.75 inches (5.25 x 12 cm)

Please bear in mind that all colours are hand-mixed and each piece is printed by hand. Each print will therefore vary slightly in colour and size. No two prints are the same!

All prints are posted in heavy duty parcel tubes/envelopes to ensure they are protected throughout transport.
